Vision Statement

I am a product designer who is intrigued by people; I observe, listen, and pay attention in my interactions to better understand their points of view. I work collaboratively with employers to determine their desired outcomes, form a strategy, and implement it to achieve those goals. My strengths are in designing interface layouts, information architecture, and interactions. I love doing the nit-picky critical thinking needed to strike a balance between value-adding features and minimized complexity. I am passionate about creating quantifiable, meaningful impact. Specifically, equipping people with skills, tools, and resources to help them improve their quality of life. In my next role, I would love to work with an organization in the arts, mental health, education, or other social initiatives.

Hello,

I’m Jenna. Great to meet you!

My Adaptable Skills

As a former educator, my greatest adaptable skills are centered around developing systems and procedures for completing projects. I am able to strategize a workflow that proactively resolves obstacles.

I go into greater detail on this in my story.

Hobbies and Interests

  • Dance

I’ve been a hobby dancer for over 10 years. I primarily dance salsa, and bachata. I dabble in east coast swing and I’ve also danced Samba no pe. It’s always a great way to cut loose, and YES. I can teach you.

  • Sewing

I love fabric, especially prints. I’m self-taught and for the sewing enthusiasts out there, I use a PFAFF. I mostly make clothing for myself and sometimes gifts for friends and family.

  • Art

No surprise I’m sure. I run the gamut here and attend festivals, lectures, and exhibits. When I make, it usually takes the form of fabric printing, soft sculpture, and drawing.
